Before our Upward Church kids launched into a new school year, we prayed over them.

On Sunday, the kids joined us in the sanctuary as we prayed for their school year ahead.

We prayed for protection.
We prayed for wisdom.
We prayed for courage.
We prayed that they would be a light wherever they go.

We believe in the next generation, and we believe God has a purpose for every one of them.

Their future matters. Their faith matters. And they are covered in prayer!

We had the best time kicking off the school year at our Back to School Bash! From inflatables and good food to a lemonade bar and plenty of space-themed fun, our kids had a day to remember!

We loved celebrating our kids, making memories together, and reminding them that they have a church family cheering them on as they head into a new school year.

We believe in the next generation, and we’re excited to see all that God has ahead for them!
