Today we pause with grateful hearts to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to gather, worship, laugh, and enjoy the freedom we often take for granted.

So today, we honor the fallen, we pray for their families, and we hold gratitude a little closer to our hearts.

“With freedom comes responsibility, and with remembrance comes gratitude.”

Last week, Deb Dailey from our North Pace campus spoke on Isaiah 64:8:

“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; we are all the work of Your hand.”

A few reminders that stood out:

• Clay doesn’t shape itself.
• The Potter knows what He’s creating, even when the clay cannot see the outcome.
• Sometimes we think our mistakes disqualify us, but God doesn’t throw away the clay, He reshapes it.

You are not abandoned. You are not forgotten. Even in the messy middle, God is still working.

As we come together on November 11th to celebrate this season of gratitude and friendship, we invite you to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for Manna Food Bank and help those in need in our community.

Bring your donations to our Salty Sisters event this Tuesday the 10th, Marcus Pointe Beulah on Wednesday nights or Sunday mornings, or get with one of our board members this week!
