Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel We are a Catholic Basilica in Pensacola, Florida. We invite you to join our Parish family! Parish founded May 10, 1781.

Present Church, the 5th St Michael Church, was dedicated and consecrated on June 6, 1886. Elevated to the status of a Minor Basilica on December 28, 2011 by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI. The liturgy of elevation celebrated February 10, 2012.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against
the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou,
O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
