250 years ago today, on May 17, 1776, the Continental Congress leaders declared this day a nationwide day to humble ourselves before God. They urged all to fast and pray, seeking forgiveness for their sins, and pray for Divine guidance and protection during the escalating Revolutionary War. We have more in common than we have differences. Let us love God and one another as God desires and Jesus asked of us. Mar 12:30-31.
