I keep learning the painful yet blessed lesson of letting go and cutting things off in my life. ✂️✨
Recently, some budgetary constraints have forced me to cut costs, dropping products and services that aren’t essential for me to thrive, enjoy God, family, and friends. 💸👨👩👧👦🙏
It hasn’t been easy—I’m attached to my TV subscriptions 📺, little daily comforts ☕, and the convenience of eating out. 🍲 But these are just a few of the expenses I needed to cut. This is a lesson I revisit in both my business and personal budget annually and bi-annually. It’s tough, but necessary.
Jesus said that the Father prunes the vine (John 15) so it can bear even more fruit. 🌿✝️ By cutting things, you create space for real growth! 🌱
👉 Don’t hesitate to let go of technology, entertainment, and products you’re just used to but don’t truly need. When you do, you often find yourself renewed and energized in ways you wouldn’t if you kept spending like always.
Let God disrupt your life through finances 💰. He uses them to draw you into His purpose for each new season. 🍂🌅
Have the courage to be obedient, to cooperate with His pruning, so you can give generously out of the abundance He’s given you. 🤲❤️
There’s true freedom in simplicity. By reducing down to the essentials and rebuilding from there, we let the cycle of life, death, and resurrection shape our finances, activities, and relationships again and again. 🔄🙏
As God prunes through you ask him to lead you into prosperity and abundance with the new decisions that you make. God is teaching you contentment through the cutting process even as He seeks to prosper you by adding new opportunities through a new mindset, especially a mindset of entrepreneurism and missional impact to others in Jesus name.
In order to grow you have to be a risk taker and put yourself out there to lose some games in order to win the league championship.
