🚨 BUSY DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN FRUITFUL.
You can have a full calendar...
and an empty spirit.
You can answer everybody's calls...
and ignore what God has been saying to you.
You can spend the entire day moving...
and never move closer to what actually matters.
Some of us have become so accustomed to being busy that rest makes us feel guilty.
But even Jesus withdrew.
📖 “And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.”
— Luke 5:16 (KJV)
Jesus had people who needed Him.
People looking for Him.
People waiting for Him.
And yet—
HE WITHDREW AND PRAYED.
That should teach us something.
Rest isn't always laziness.
Silence isn't always inactivity.
And saying “not today” doesn't always mean you're neglecting something.
Sometimes you need to stop.
Put the phone down.
Quiet the noise.
Pray.
Breathe.
Be present with your family.
Sit with God without asking Him for anything.
And remember that your value isn't determined by how exhausted you are.
🔥 YOU DON'T HAVE TO RUN YOURSELF EMPTY TO PROVE THAT YOUR LIFE MATTERS.
Work when it's time to work.
Serve when it's time to serve.
But learn to rest without guilt.
Because sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is become quiet enough to hear God again.
