If My People Will Pray

Dunwoody Baptist Church held an event for If My People Will Pray in Dunwoody Georgia last week. It was an incredible experience and so many people reached out afterwards exclaiming that it was "nothing like we expected, and everything we needed!". There were 100+ people in attendance. The Holy Spirit was very present.

They had a blessed and Spirit-filled event here in Bennington, Vermont on October 1st!

The Lord opened a door for us to rent a pavilion in a beautiful park overlooking our city, and blessed us with a beautiful sunset during our time of prayer.

About 50 believers from at least six churches came out to the event, from Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York. From 5 to 6 PM, our worship band played a beautiful set of modernized hymns, contemporary classics, and psalms set to music. There was a spirit of worship in the house!

We all then moved to a time of quiet prayer. Some settled into seats in the pavilion, while others took chairs into the field, or sat in the grass. I heard reports of blessed times of prayer, while most of us were stretched by spending an hour before the Lord. In our busy, distracted world, this kind of unplugging was contended, but was great! The Lord met so many of us in our hunger for Him!

This was a beginning!! Many have already asked when we will gather again for an event like this!

Pray for us in Vermont! God is on the move here! We are praying that His people will continue to seek our God, His Kingdom and His Righteous, and that the Church would be awakened and burdened for the lost, broken, and bound to be set free in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I am going to share a new one each day! Please share your personal story and use so we can continue to celebrate the Lord together.

What a blessing to take part in this event. You made it so easy for us to have a venue at FBC Pleasant Grove. We had about 100 people in attendance with many of those from other local churches. It was truly a blessing to gather as the Church and to spend time in praise and prayer with other believers. This was a low-key but very powerful time. Thanks for allowing us to join in this time of prayer.
