The Amazon is so beautiful…and deadly—especially for the hundreds and hundreds of children who are being s*xually exploited and trafficked there every day.

Yachts cruise up and down the Amazon River, offering s*x tourists unbridled access to children of all ages. These children are sent over to the yachts in rickety wooden boats by their parents in exchange for the promise of a little money.

If things go wrong—and they do—a stone is tied to the child, and they are given to the river…their empty tiny boat and a small sum of cash is returned to the shore in exchange for the parents’ silence.


We have signed the lease on our first safe house in Brazil! And we are so excited that it will be in the interior of the Amazon. It will be up and running within the next three months.


At the same time, we will be finishing construction on two new prevention centers which means we will double the number of at-risk children we are reaching from around 700 to 1,200.

In these centers, every day, children receive warm meals, tutoring, trauma therapy, and most of all—HOPE for a life free from trafficking and exploitation.
