Well I’m all finished with what I’m calling the “Freegan Bible” every part of it was scavenged from something else. The block was a well used ESV pocket bible, the cover is a notebook the owner had, the liner is from a leather jacket I got at a yard sale, the ribbon I cut out of an old book when I realized everything else in the project was free. Haha!

This was a really difficult project. This was the smallest book I have ever rebound, and the leather was about 3x as thick as it should be. But it turned out better than I thought it was going to. I can’t wait to get it to its owner. @ Pawleys Island, South Carolina

Those of you who know me, know that I have a plethora of books. I have a problem, there are steps, it's a whole thing.... Anyway I found this little guy while I was packing up my library to move to my new apartment. It's by far the smallest hymnal I own. Once I get moved in, I'll restore it to its former glory. •

One of my favorite books of all time "Gatsby's Hynms". I rebound this from a cloth over board to black goat skin, with black sheep skin liner and textured end sheets. It has no guilding, but does have a simi-yapp. It went from plain old book to, a to family heirloom that will last generations.
