Fox-Fairview Christian Church, formally known as Fairview Christian Church is a Community Church located in Patriot, Ohio near the Gallia-Lawrence County Line at the crossroads of Mt. It was first built in 1854 and rebuilt in 1908 and burned once again on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. In the last half century, familiar Family Names attending The Church include The Myers Family, The Neals, The Whit
es, The Kingerys, The Gulletts, The Stanleys, The Saunders, The Brown Family The Hayes Family and Payne Family. For over a century, The Fox Fairview Church is the standing location of the Myers Family Reunion. The Myers Family has also assumed responsibility and stepped up to maintain the Cemetery and Church in recent decades through their time, resources and financial support. While at this time a "building" may not be present, The Ministry of Fox Fairview Church continues as a beacon of hope, a Community Landmark, a meeting of Friends, a stepping stone for many Ministries and a fond place in the hearts of many. In the Bible, we find that "The Church" referred to the Bride of Christ and not a building. It is in that spirit our Church would like to let you know our "Body of Believers" are here to serve you as pillars in the Community and the descendants of these Families are proud to continue the Legacy and Ministry of Fox Fairview Church.
