A group of Tibetan Monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery Art Tour of 2015 is arriving in Central Califo

rnia for a four week stay, April 13 – May 8. They will be exhibiting Tibetan Crafts, creating large beautiful sand paintings and presenting cultural pageant performances that include: dance, song, chant and a fascinating example of the debate monks use to train their thinking. There will be many varied appearances in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Oceano and Santa Maria. This page will give updates and information and opportunities to post pictures.

TODAY! Mini-Mandala Dissolution & Blessing in Atascadero 🌊

Join Geshi Yeshi for today from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at The Healing Tree in Atascadero for the profound closing ceremony of their mini-Mandala. It's an opportunity to support education of Tibetan Youth as much as recieve blessings from Geshe (monks) Yeshi, Rigzin, and Lopsang. After days of construction, watch the beautiful sands—a symbol of impermanence—be gathered up and prepared for release.

I was able to sit with tranquility as the prayers were offered for the day's Mandala and closing meditation 3:30--for the Medicine Buddha. Meeting very generous and kind monks, Yeshi, Rigzin and Geshe Lopzang was a wonderful and warm experience.
