Good word to experience greater freedom in and through Jesus...

A person under the control of a religious spirit will love you only to the extent you are willing to be controlled. If a person will only love you if you are just like them, agreeing with them, following after them and praising them then it becomes a control issue.

You can see a control spirit at work because it will punish you for non compliance. It will discredit you. It will use slander and inuendo and every form of subtle and not so subtle ways to get control. It will try to gather up others against you. It will cause divisions in Churches through gossip. It will split people into groups. It is very destructive in all forms. It will go to great lengths to get its own way.

The fruit of the spirit is our guideline for guarding our hearts against this spirit, although it attacks with vengeance against its targets.

Our job is to cultivate love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, gentleness, long suffering...etc. Even while being attacked.
Against these qualities ~ there is no law...

It is for freedom that Christ set us free. We do not have to come under any other yokes.We do not want to alienate ourselves from Grace. The only thing that counts....Is faith expressing itself through LOVE.
