Do you really know Him?

If we prepared to win football games the way we spend time with God we would never win another game! Christ is number one not just in words but action. Faith without works is dead - James 1. Help us all Lord!

Eternal life is to know God - JN 17:3. Many times we know attributes of an athlete but have never spent quality time with them therefore we don't KNOW them. Knowing is not knowing about but having a deep, committed, time investment into a person. This actually changes who you are to be more like Christ - 2 Cor 3:18.

How do we know? When we sin we are CONVICTED immediately unto repentance. Not church affiliation or attendance but being united with God.

Are you broken over your sins? If not we cannot claim to know or be right with God.

We all have Goliaths—prayer life, Bible study, toxic relationships, or what we consume. The ones we refuse to fight. Just like David, the least likely, was qualified because he spent time with Jesus, we too can overcome our Goliaths. What battle are you avoiding?

With 168 hours in a week, if you only dedicate one hour to spiritual growth, how can it overcome 167 hours of worldliness? It's easy for the world's influence to overshadow God's word when it's absent from your daily life.

The world constantly tries to influence your mind. To truly live from the inside out, you need a strong prayer life and dedicated study time in God's presence. Renew your mind and embody the mind of Christ.

When interpreting scripture, context is crucial. Don't let misleading translations obscure the truth. Dig into the original meaning to understand God's true nature, which is not cruel or hateful towards women. Remember, even in resurrection, women were the first witnesses.

The struggle between the spirit and the flesh is evidence of a battle for your soul. You must be born again, putting off the old nature and renewing your mind with God's Word to be transformed. True righteousness and holiness begin with belief.
