Our team will be leaving on July 7th to serve at the Morningstar Ministry School and Orphanage in Mutungo, Uganda. The school & orphanage currently serve over 250 young children between the ages of 3 and 14 in a semi-rural, impoverished community of roughly 10,000. Many in Uganda have suffered from the devastating effects of civil war, poverty and disease. Providing children with food, clothing, a

nd a Christian education in a safe and nurturing environment brings hope to this entire community. The 2016 First United Methodist Church of Panama City Team is partnering with Pastor Sam Kisembo and Morningstar School and Orphanage to make a positive difference in the lives of these amazing children and community.
