Being a watchman is not a preference, it is a divine demand.
Ezekiel 3:17
“Son of man, I have made thee a watchman… therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.”
God never asked if you wanted it.
He said, I made you this.
Which means the burden is not self-appointed, it is assigned.
And then He raises the standard…..
Ezekiel 33:6
“But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet… his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.”
This is where the weight sits.
Not in being seen.
Not in being heard.
But in being responsible for what you were shown.
A watchman lives with consequence.
If you speak, you may be rejected.
If you stay silent, you are held accountable.
There is no comfortable option.
This is why many want platforms but few can carry watchman oil, because it demands that you speak what God said even when it disrupts what people built.
You don’t get to dilute it to be received.
You don’t get to delay it to be accepted.
You become a vessel that trembles at His word first, before you ever release it to others.
Jeremiah 1:7
“Say not, I am a child… for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.”
This is not glamour.
This is governance.
God entrusting a human with a warning…and expecting it to be delivered without compromise.
