Romans 10:6 But the righteousness of faith speaks...........Speak out Your Righteousness!

Let me share something powerful with you about righteousness. In Romans 10:6, God’s Word tells us that the “righteousness of faith speaks”.

Now, what does this mean? It means that God encourages us to not just believe in our hearts that we are righteous, but to also speak it out!

So righteous one, declare your righteousness. Every day, boldly say, “Father, I thank You that I am righteous in Christ, not because of what I have done, but because of what Christ has done. It’s a gift and I receive it with all my heart.”

Point Of The Day: When you speak and declare your righteousness, good things happen. You become conscious of all the blessings and all the promises that are due the righteous. Instead of disqualifying yourself, you’ll start to believe God for good success, favor, and wisdom. Experiencing provision becomes effortless because you know your right standing in Christ. So stop disqualifying yourself and confess your righteousness!

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.............Wisdom Is the Principal Thing!

The solution to money problems is the wisdom of God. Today, as you believe God for increase, I want to encourage you to ask God first for wisdom with regard to all the provision challenges that you are facing right now.

In James 1:5, we learn that if anyone lacks wisdom, “let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him”.

The wisdom of God will help you to identify and solve the money problems that you are currently experiencing. Don’t prioritize accumulating material things. God’s Word declares that wisdom is the principal thing.

Point Of The Day: In all your getting, get wisdom and understanding!

James 2:20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?...........Take Action!

The difference between a dream and a wish is that a wish is something you hope will happen, but a dream is something you put actions behind. Today’s Scripture says that faith without works is dead. You can wish you could go to college, wish for a job, or wish for a better car, but wishing is not going to get you there. You have to put the work in to make it happen. The people who succeed don’t always have the most talent, education, or opportunities. Many times, they simply want it more than others.

I want to light a fire in you today. You have to go after what God has for you. Being passive and indifferent will keep you from your destiny. When you make up your mind that you’re going to do something, God will breathe on your efforts and give you strength that goes beyond your natural ability. It’s not just willpower; it’s the blessing of God helping you. But it kicks in when God sees you making the effort.

Prayer Of The Day: Father, thank You for the dreams that You’ve given me and for the gifts and talents You have entrusted me with. Help me stir up my faith and let the passion become a flame that takes action. I’m going to take steps to grow the gift You gave me and trust You to breathe on my efforts. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

James 4:14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.............Does It Really Matter!

Every day is a gift. The longer I live, the more I realize how valuable each day is. We’re not going to be here forever. It’s easy to live uptight, frustrated, and worried, but in the big picture, most of the things that are upsetting us don’t really matter. Is it worth losing your joy over bad traffic or something someone said that was offensive? If you found out you only had a day to live, you wouldn’t even pay attention to many things that upset you now.

If you let a grouchy boss or a bitter relative keep you from being happy, it’s your fault. You are as happy as you want to be. You have to put your foot down and say, “This is the day the Lord has made. I’m not going to let what people do or don’t do, what they say or don’t say, or what I have or don’t have keep me from being happy. I’ve made up my mind. I’m going to enjoy this day.”

Prayer Of The Day: Father, thank You that this day is a gift from You, and I’m not going to live sour and defeated. Thank You that I have the power to not allow what others say or do or what I don’t have to steal my happiness. I’ve made up my mind that I’m going to keep my joy. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Isaiah 43:4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you…......God’s Grace Transforms Us!

Would you agree with me that more Christians today know about the Ten Commandments than about the new covenant of God’s unmerited favor? For that matter, if you walked down Times Square in New York City and started to interview people at random, most would probably have heard about the Ten Commandments, but know nothing about the new covenant of grace that came by Jesus Christ. In fact, the world identifies Christianity with the Ten Commandments. Isn’t it sad that the world knows us by the laws that are obsolete and not by the unmerited favor that Christ died to give us?

It is no wonder we are losing a whole new generation of young people to the world! The law holds no appeal or attraction and the Bible itself calls the law obsolete (Hebrews 8:13). If we keep on shoving the Ten Commandments down the throats of our young people, don’t be surprised when they are turned off by legalistic forms of Christianity. More importantly, don’t forget that the strength of sin is the law. The law has no power to stop sin. The law will not impart to them their precious identity in Christ, which will give them the strength to abstain from premarital s*x, prevent them from getting into drug abuse and stop them from losing their s*xual identity. Only God’s own sacrifice on the cross can give them their new identity as a new creation in Christ Jesus!

Young people, when you catch a revelation of Jesus and just how precious you are in His sight, your lives will be supernaturally transformed. You will stop being harassed by suicidal thoughts. You will stop wanting to put yourselves at risk to “fit in” or to get the attention that you crave.

Young ladies, you will come to see and value yourselves differently as you learn to value yourselves in the same way Jesus values you. Overflowing with Jesus’ perfect love for and acceptance of you, you will not be under the illusion that you need to give your bodies away to find acceptance and love from some guy. You will love yourselves as Jesus loves you!

Young men, you will develop supernatural self-control to manage your raging hormones. You will do it not by your own willpower, but through Jesus’ power flowing through you. You will learn how to flee youthful lusts. You will know that being “cool” means respecting the opposite s*x, and not putting yourselves and your girlfriends at risk of contracting s*xually transmitted diseases and having unwanted pregnancies.

Young people, when you know that Jesus has an awesome destiny laid out for you, the desire to be involved in gangs and destructive activities such as alcohol and drug abuse and promiscuity will dissipate in Jesus’ unmerited favor and love for you. Supernaturally, your desires for the things of the world will disappear as they get replaced with the desire for Jesus! That’s the power of God’s grace (unmerited favor) and His unconditional acceptance of us through the cross. What the law could not do, God did for us by sending His own Son Jesus Christ!

Psalms 22:3 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the one Israel praises..........Reconnect!

When we face situations for which there’s no logical solution, it’s easy to live worried. That voice starts playing in our head, “What are you going to do? What if it doesn’t work out?” Our answer should be, “I don’t know what to do, but I know the One who does.” We know we don’t have to make everything happen in our own strength. We don’t have to have it all figured out or even lose sleep. We know God is on the throne. We know He’s fighting our battles.

When we worry, and our mind is going in circles, we’ve lost our connection to our source of strength. You have to reconnect to God. Today’s Scripture says that when you give God praise, you’re putting Him on the throne. Life is too short for you to live worried, overwhelmed by problems, upset because somebody hurt you. Take that off the throne and put God back on the throne. Quit dwelling on the negative and start praising. God inhabits your praises.

Prayer Of The Day: Father, thank You that You are in control of all the situations in my life, and You are fighting my battles. Thank You that You are enthroned in my heart upon my praises. I choose to stop dwelling on thoughts that trap me in negativity, and I will keep praising You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

John 5:8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”..........Remember!

In John 5, Jesus healed a man lying beside the pool of Bethesda who had been crippled for thirty-eight years. Why did He tell him to take his mat with him? After all those years, that mat was dirty, ragged, and probably stunk. Why didn’t Jesus tell him to get rid of it? Because that mat was there to remind him of what God had done. It was part of his story. Whenever people asked him, “Why are you carrying that ugly old mat?” he would say, “No, this is a beautiful mat. It’s a reminder that God healed me.”

The reason God leaves mats from our past is not only that we’ll remember what He’s done, but so we can tell others. The mat means you’re healed, you’re forgiven, and you can walk again. You may still have your mat, but that’s simply to remind you of the greatness of our God. When you see other people who need healing, let them know that what God did for you, He can do for them.

Prayer Of The Day: Father, thank You for the mats from my past that are a part of my story. Thank You for healing me, forgiving me, and giving me a new life. Help me to remember what You’ve done in my life and to use my story to encourage others of what You can do for them. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Colossians 2:13–14You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross...........“All” Means All!

When I preaching on our total forgiveness in Christ, someone will inadvertently ask, if all my sins are forgiven, that means my future sins are too. But how can my future sins be forgiven?

Well, that’s a great question. The reality is, when Jesus died on the cross two thousand years ago, all our sins were in the future.

There are people who argue that there is no Scripture that says that all our future sins are forgiven. They teach that when we receive Jesus, all our past sins are forgiven, but our future sins are only forgiven as we confess them and ask God for forgiveness.

First let me say to those who claim there is no Bible verse stating that our future sins are forgiven, that there is also no Bible verse stating that only our past sins are forgiven! But there is a Scripture that clearly states, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Eph. 1:7, emphasis mine). In the original Greek text, the verb for “have” is in the present tense, which indicates durative action, meaning we are continually having forgiveness of sins, including every sin we will ever commit.

Furthermore, in 1 John 2:12, it says, “I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.” The Greek perfect tense is used here for “are forgiven,” meaning this forgiveness is a definite action completed in the past, with the effect of this action continuing into the present. This means that God’s forgiveness avails for you in your present, and continues into your future. Do you see that?

Next, I want you to consider today’s Scripture. Colossians 2:13–14 declares that Jesus forgave all our sins! The word “all” is the Greek pas, meaning “every kind or variety... the totality of the persons or things referred to.” It refers to “all, any, every, the whole.” So “all” means all. God’s forgiveness of our sins covers every sin—past, present, and future! When we received the Lord Jesus as our Savior, we received the total and complete forgiveness of all our sins.

In Hebrews 10:11–14, the Bible says, “And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.”

Point Of The Day: Now, according to this Scripture, as a believer, for how long are you perfected? Forever! How can you be perfected forever, if your future sins are not forgiven? Obviously, they are!
