A Golden Jubilee Story of God’s Mercy and Faithfulness
At exactly 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 1976, in the city of Lagos, Nigeria, a baby boy was born at St. Nicholas Hospital, 57 Campbell Street, Lagos Island, Lagos State. He was born into the family of Chief Akintade Johnson Faleye.
That baby boy was Olajide Daniel Oluleye.
Now, in just a few hours, at 12:00 a.m. on June 1, 2026, that same baby boy will step into the 5th floor of life. Fifty years. Fifty years of mercy. Fifty years of grace. Fifty years of preservation. Fifty years of battles seen and unseen, victories known and unknown, and faithfulness that words can never fully explain.
As I look back over my journey, my heart is full. I am not standing here today because I am the strongest, the wisest, or the most deserving. I am alive because God kept me. I am standing because mercy said no. I am still here because the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ, has carried me through every season of life.
On this Golden Jubilee birthday, I pause with deep gratitude to God Almighty for the precious gift of life, strength, health, grace, and purpose. I am also deeply thankful for my one and only wife, Oluyinka Oluleye, my beautiful children, my spiritual sons and daughters around the world, my leaders, teachers, pastors, mentors, spiritual father, fathers of faith, friends, and family. Each of you has played an impactful, meaningful, and invaluable role in my journey and pilgrimage on earth toward fulfilling my destiny. I'm so grateful to God and to you all.
God has done so much for me that words are not enough. My life is a testimony of His mercy. My story is proof of His faithfulness. My 50th birthday is not just a celebration of age; it is a celebration of the God who kept me alive and still using me to impart others for his Kingdom.
Please join me to honor and celebrate my Savior, Healer, Sanctifier, Jesus Christ, the One who deserves all the glory, all the praise, and all the thanksgiving.
