I officially became a citizen of Ghana back in March, but due to a last-minute family emergency, I had to leave before receiving my citizenship certificate in person.
Today, I finally held it in my hands.
And honestly… I sat in my hotel room for over an hour just praying, thanking God, and asking Him for continued direction and wisdom for this next chapter.
Five years ago, I stepped out in faith believing I was called to build more than a brand or a business. I believed the mission was bigger. To create impact. To uplift, educate, and help build legacy for African Americans in the U.S. and for my brothers and sisters across Africa.
Today, that mission feels even more real.
I spent the day meeting with the Ambassador, leaders, and business owners here in Ghana sharing the vision for what AO Enterprises and future partnerships can build on this continent through financial literacy, education, and economic empowerment.
Even stuck in the rain… the work continued.
This moment isn’t about status. It’s about stewardship. It’s about responsibility. It’s about building bridges and guiding the next generation.
And now… I’m excited to celebrate Black love and legacy this weekend with my friends .hotchocolate & the rest of the weekend.
Ghana… My 2nd home 🇬🇭
