𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀.

We may know what Scripture says. We may believe God is faithful. And yet, our hearts still hurt.

𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟯𝟰 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
"𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁."

God does not ask us to hide our pain before coming to Him.
He invites us to come as we are.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.
𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆.

Following Jesus isn't about pretending difficult things don't hurt. It's about learning to walk through them with Him.

Sometimes we want God to immediately change our circumstances. But in the middle of our pain, He often gives us something deeply personal: His presence.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀
𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝗺.
𝗦𝗶𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀.
𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.
𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘀.
𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Discipleship happens here too. In the quiet moments when we learn that we don't have to understand everything in order to trust Him.

𝗛𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂.
𝗛𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿.

“𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.”

For years, 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗸𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮 attended different churches, memorized prayers, and followed what others were doing. But something was missing.

𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

Then she began to understand the true message of salvation.

Her eyes were opened. She repented, asked God for forgiveness, and began a new journey of discovering what it means to know God and understand her identity in Christ.

Through the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲, that journey continues. And with it has come a deeper understanding of her calling:

“𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗺.”

This is what discipleship is about. Not simply bringing people to church, but pointing them to Jesus, helping them know Him personally, and walking alongside them as they grow.

We thank God for Belise’s testimony and for what He continues to do through disciples who are learning, growing, and helping others follow Christ.

𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁. 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁. 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻?

Sometimes we immediately start looking for solutions. We make plans, ask for advice, and try to figure out what we can do to make things better.

Those things aren't necessarily wrong. But Scripture reminds us that there is somewhere or rather, Someone we can turn to first.

𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗛𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.

He is our refuge when life feels uncertain.
He is our strength when we feel like we have nothing left.
And He is present not distant, not unaware, but near.

Learning to follow Jesus means learning to depend on Him in the ordinary moments as well as the difficult ones. Over time, turning to Him becomes less of a last resort and more of the natural response of a heart that knows Him.

Whatever you're carrying today, take a few moments to be with Him.

𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.
𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗺.
𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻.
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

You may not have every answer when you get up, but you can walk forward knowing you are not walking alone.
