Congratulations to our St. Johns Country Day School Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee: Carson Pickett '12
It is our honor to induct Carson Pickett, Class of 2012, into the SJCDS Athletics Hall of Fame.
A seven-year varsity letterwinner in soccer, Carson left her mark on the program in ways few ever have. She is the school’s all-time leader in assists with 152, ranks second in goals with 150, and second in total points with 452. Her consistency, vision, and ability to elevate those around her defined her career from the very beginning.
Carson played a pivotal role in multiple championship runs, helping lead the Spartans to state titles in 2007, 2009, and 2012. Her teams also reached the state semifinals three times and a regional final, establishing one of the most dominant eras in program history.
Her individual accolades are equally remarkable.
In 2012, Carson was named the Florida Gatorade Player of the Year, the Dairy Farmers Class 1A Player of the Year, and “Miss Florida” Soccer Player of the Year. She also earned All-State honors and was recognized as a high school All-American by the NSCAA. Earlier in her career, she was named the Class 2A Player of the Year in 2009.
And Carson didn’t stop there.
She also competed in track and field, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to excellence across multiple sports.
Following her time at St. Johns, Carson continued her career at Florida State Seminoles women's soccer, where she was a member of the 2014 NCAA National Championship team, further cementing her legacy on the national stage.
Following FSU, Carson was selected fourth overall in the 2016 NWSL Draft and has gone on to earn multiple Best 11 honors in the league. She has also represented her country, earning caps with the United States Women’s National Team.
But beyond the accolades, Carson’s impact reaches far deeper.
She has become a powerful advocate for limb difference awareness, using her platform to inspire and empower others around the world. Her courage, authenticity, and leadership continue to define her legacy far beyond the field.
And remarkably, Carson Pickett is still competing at the professional level today with the Denver Summit, continuing to represent St. Johns with pride every time she steps onto the field.
Please join us in celebrating and welcoming Carson Pickett into the St. Johns Country Day School Athletics Hall of Fame, Class of 2026!
