Peak Challenge is an annual opportunity for men, their sons, fathers, brothers and friends to get away from the everyday routines in life and to experience all that God has for them in a wild setting – the mountains of Colorado. This is not a “retreat” but rather an advance of men who seek to experience God in a way that will resonate deep within their souls. Peak Challenge takes place every July

in Colorado and men from around the country are part of the experience. Men are challenged physically while in Colorado hiking 14,000 foot peaks, biking and whitewater rafting. But more importantly, men are challenged spiritually to engage in the battle like never before, as they will see what is at stake. Peak Challenge 2022 will take place on July 26-29, 2022 on the shores of Lake Dillon,
Colorado. Hike 14,000 foot peaks.... whitewater raft the Arkansas... kayak pristine lakes... mountainbike hundreds of miles of single track trails.... fish blue ribbon streams.... jeep old mining roads.... and more. This will be one of, if not the most amazing experience, you will ever have as you experience God, connect with other men and live life to the full! Risk is the DNA of every man, put there by God and for God. You may have misplaced it, neglected it, misused it but it is time to get it back. It is time to get your heart back. It is time to do something great for God with it right now."

Building legacies.

A guy starts walking towards me at the gym over the noon hour today while I am doing some core exercises. As he gets closer, I recognize him. He went to Peak Challenge as an Open Door Mission man a long time ago.

He introduces himself and asks if I am with Band of Brothers. I tell him yes and that I remember him from Peak Challenge. He experienced it in 2017. He turned his life around. He is doing well, looking good and was jacked! 😀

Almost 9 years later, he made a point to come talk to me and tell me this:

"You all have changed a lot of lives".

"My life has been changed forever."

That is Peak Challenge at its core.

God.Men.Mountains.Legacies.

Lean into the men coming this year and breathe legacy into them. Let God guide your steps. Jesus is working through you to change lives!

We chase summits thinking God is waiting at the top, but these “peaks” are false. While we strive to climb higher, God has already come down to meet us in the dirt, the struggle, and the mess. The climb ends not at the summit, but in hearing this: Christ is for you… even here, and even right now.

I am excited to announce this year’s theme for Peak Challenge: “False Peaks”.

What have you been chasing that has left you empty?

Each night we’ll hear powerful messages that bring to the surface the struggles men face but also bring hope to the same men who feel they have been left empty with what the world has to offer.
