Olney Quilt Guild Welcome to the Olney Quilt Guild of Olney, Illinois. For all quilters, we invite you to help us promote and preserve the art of quilt making. Walnut St.

Olney Quilt Guild was formed in September of 2003 at the First United Methodist Church in Olney, Illinois, by a group of women in the area who were interested in a chance to make new friends, sharpen quilting skills, and share their talents with others. This organization operates as a non-profit organization. The purpose of this organization shall be to preserve the heritage of quilting, to assist

members in developing a high quality of excellence in quilting, and to be a source of information and inspiration. We shall promote the cultural art of quilting in Olney and surrounding areas. Guild meetings are regularly held on the first Monday of each month. Social time begins at 6:00 p.m. Organized evening activities will begin at 6:30 p.m. Our meetings are presently held at Nazarene Church, 1411 N. Olney, Illinois. Our programs each month may include guest speakers, workshops, field trips, demonstrations, and / or various topics of interest to quilters. One of the most vital parts of being a member of the Guild is participating in the activities.

If you are not a current member you are welcome to come to our meeting up to 2 times before deciding if you want to join the guild.

Come to the Olney’s Quilt Show and check out the vendors.

Your Quilting Stash will be here all day on Friday to sharpen your scissors. She can sharpen any straight edge scissor that comes apart.

Elaine Ochs is here making and selling baskets.

The Red Barn Quilt Company has a bunch of cute fabrics, patterns and kits.

MBT also has a lot of fat quarters and half yard cuts.

Show is today until 6 PM
Tomorrow is 9-4.
