Our Summer Youth Retreat is an impactful weekend designed for 6th-12th graders to deepen their faith, build lasting friendships, and enjoy plenty of fun through friendly competition. The event features live worship, special messages, group discussions, and our famous Battle of the Colors! It’s scheduled for June 26-28, and will be held at our Youth Building and the Downtown Marriott. Registration is now open on Church Center.

We know the cost can be a bit of a sacrifice, but it will be an investment that is well worth it. To help cover the cost, we’re also hosting a 5K Color Run at UTPB on June 13, where your child can volunteer to help cover their retreat costs. You can register your child for the retreat or find more info about the fundraiser through the registration page on Church Center. Follow the link in the comments.

Just a reminder that our youth ministry is on break for the summer, and there will be no youth nights on Wednesdays until school begins in August.

ICY Fam! As Pastor John announced this morning, our last gathering before we start our summer break is this coming Wednesday! This will be a fun night to end the school year with food and some “Fear Factor” themed games. It’s going to be a great time facing and overcoming some fears together with God’s help and the encouragement of your youth fam! 💪🏼

Pastor John also shared that this year’s fundraiser for our Summer Retreat will be a 5K Color Run, scheduled for Saturday, June 13, at 8:00 am. This event will be open to our church family and the community to sign up for, and our youth will help it to run smoothly while cheering on the runners. Proceeds from the 5K Color Run will go toward covering the retreat costs for our students who volunteer that morning.

One last thing to highlight is that our Summer Retreat is open to all students entering grades 6-12 in the upcoming school year. Parents, if you have a child who will be entering 6th grade this fall, we encourage you to sign them up for the conference and our fundraiser to help cover costs if needed. We’re excited for Pastor Israel to share a special message for Pentecost Sunday tomorrow! We believe God has put a special word on his heart as we gather to commemorate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Church.
