On this Shabbat Zachor, let’s all pray fervently for the peace of Israel, Jerusalem, and all Jews worldwide. Let our prayers reach Adonai today for our U.S. Forces and the IDF combating the evil of the Republic of Iran and bringing it to its end. And finally may our prayers go to heaven to the God of all mercy for the precious Iranian people that they would be delivered and find Yeshua the Messiah and King who loves some with an everlasting love.

For many - between the lawlessness and rioters in Minneapolis, the rise anti-Semitism like never before since WWII, and the massacres and atrocities in Iran, many might feel as if the world is falling apart. Even this terrible storm surging though much of our nation this weekend (and into next week) can cause deep concern for many, as we consoder how fragile life really is.

So, instead of just greeting one today with a simple “Shavua Tov,” (have a good week), i challenge you to turn it into a prayer!

When you greet someone, look for an opportunity in that moment to pray for, and bless your neighbor!

And with the demonic chaos which seems to be swirling all about us, as people like never are turning their backs on God - choose this week to set aside time to intercede and pray that this evil will be exposed for what
It is, and that our nation and the world would make teshuvah, and turn back to God. You are Messiah’s appointed emissary of prayer. Stand in the gap and mend the breach O warrior of God, Go - Go Forth, be a Light and see this week the miracles of Messiah Yeshua, Ah’men.

In our Haftorah, this Shabbat, we are reminded of a powerful lesson, … That the Lord will not only defend His people, but also judge the enemies of Israel. Of this, we read concerning Egypt,

“Proclaim it in Egypt and let it be heard in Migdol, and let it be heard in Noph and in Tahpanhes. Say, ‘Stand fast and prepare yourself, for the sword has devoured round about you.”

This Shabbat, rest in the faithfulness of your God. Do not fear or waiver, do not be dismayed for Yeshua proclaims over you -

“You fear not, O Jacob My servant, and be not dismayed, O Israel! for behold, I will redeem you from afar and your children from the land of their captivity, and Jacob shall return and be quiet and at ease, and there shall be none who disturb his rest.” (Jer. 46:27) -

You are Safe in the Lord’s Hands!

Haftorah Va'eira: Adonai has faithfully brought us from slavery, He is in these last days prophetically ingathering the exiles back home to Eretz Yisra’el, and He has taken us out of our suffering in Egypt. What ever suffering you are now enduring, He is faithful and true, and He is your deliverance. Shabbat Shalom!
