New Horizon Oakland is deeply saddened by the passing of a true Bay Area legend and Gospel music giant, Elder Daryl Norman.

Elder Norman was a pillar in the Gospel community, widely respected for his leadership, his service to the Church, and his unwavering dedication to preserving and uplifting Gospel music culture. He served faithfully at Olivet Oakland and was honored throughout California for the impact of his ministry and musical legacy.

We stand in love and solidarity with his family, friends, church family, and all who are grieving this profound loss. Though he has transitioned, the imprint of his life, his leadership, his voice, and his service will remain.

Rest well, Elder Daryl Norman. Your legacy will be remembered and cherished always. 🕊️
