Prayer Hike with Holy Eucharist
Sunday, August 14, 2016, 1:00 p.m.

Join us at Guilford's Timberland Preserve
for a special liturgy surrounded by the beauty of God's creation.

Please join us on a two-hour family-friendly ramble on mostly flat or gently rolling terrain from the trail head on the south side of Rt. 80 to the junction of Upper Guilford Lake and the Iron Stream. We will follow the New England National Scenic Trail to one of the prettiest spots in Guilford!

We will return the same way. We will gather 15 minutes before the start time in the hiker parking lot on the north side of Rte 80.

We have promised to respect the dignity of every human being. Bishop Provenzano is a strong witness to God's love .

I write to assure you that in the face of the reckless and hateful attitudes portrayed by some in this political season, there are many more people of good will and faith that stand with you against the toxic, irresponsible rhetoric of some of the candidates for president.

SEEya kids and adults helped to serve 277 people on Saturday. We sorted clothing and food, prepared and distributed food and served as babysitters. We learned that summer is a time of high food insecurity because kids no longer receive breakfast and lunch at school. Loaves and Fishes can use volunteers any and every Saturday from 7:45 until 11 a.m.
