What if the person who hurt you never apologizes?

Forgiveness can be incredibly difficult when someone refuses to acknowledge the pain they caused. But biblical forgiveness isn’t pretending the hurt never happened. It doesn’t erase consequences, and it doesn’t mean trust has to be restored immediately.

Forgiveness is choosing to release vengeance and refusing to let bitterness control your heart.

You may never receive the apology you deserve—but you can still choose freedom.

Forgiveness doesn’t change what happened… but it can change the power it has over you.

Jesus said, “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5

A branch doesn’t produce fruit by trying harder. It produces fruit by remaining connected to the vine.

The same is true in our walk with Christ.

Abiding in Jesus is more than simply believing in Him. It means living in daily dependence on Him—staying connected through His Word, prayer, obedience, and a growing relationship with Him.

The Christian life isn’t about trying harder without Christ. It’s about staying connected to the One who gives us life.

Have you ever prayed for something, believed God was leading you toward it… only to watch the door suddenly close?

It’s easy to see a closed door as rejection. But sometimes, God is doing something we can’t see.

That closed door may be protection from something ahead, redirection toward a different path, or simply God saying, “Not yet.”

📖 “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” — Proverbs 16:9

When God closes a door, don’t stop trusting Him. Keep praying. Keep following. He can see the entire road when we can only see the next step.

Sometimes God’s answer isn’t the door you wanted—it’s the direction you needed.

It’s about knowing the God you’re following.

His Word teaches us truth, corrects our direction, and gives us light for the path ahead.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

Jesus said, “Take up your cross daily and follow Me.” — Luke 9:23

Taking up your cross isn’t about earning salvation through suffering. It’s about surrender.

It means choosing Christ over self, His will over ours, and obedience even when following Him costs us something.

The cost of following Jesus is real—but nothing we surrender compares to what we gain in Him. ✝️
