Dear Church Family,

Due to the forecasted severe cold temperatures and snowy conditions, I have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel in-person services tomorrow, Sunday, January 25.

I encourage everyone to worship safely from home—perhaps reading Scripture together as a family, or listening to a sermon on TV. Your safety is my top priority during this extreme weather.

We look forward to gathering together again next Sunday. Please stay warm, check on your neighbors, and take care on the roads if you have to get out but hopefully you will not have to leave the house.

Please let others know that might not be on this list.

Dear Church Family,

With the extreme cold weather forecasted for tomorrow morning and wind chills dropping to dangerous levels, I have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel our in-church worship service on Sunday, December 14.
Your safety is our top priority, and we do not want anyone risking travel in these hazardous conditions.

Please stay home, stay warm, and take this opportunity to worship in the comfort and safety of your own home. Spend time in prayer, open your Bibles, sing a hymn or two with your family, or join an online service from another congregation if you’d like. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, wherever we are.

We look forward to gathering together again next Sunday, God willing, with hearts full of gratitude for His protection.

Until then, keep warm, check on your neighbors (especially the elderly or those living alone), and may God’s peace fill your homes.
