Spruce Pine was a rebuild for the Young family! They lost their house to the landslide during hurricane Helene in 2024. The house build went much faster than we expected; it was completely done within 14 days! I helped with painting, landscaping, cleaning, and decorating! It was a lot of work but we took time to play as well!
On my drive from FL I stopped off in South Carolina for a hike at Rocky Creek Trail... it was a nice change from driving in my car for 6 hours!
North Carolina was so beautiful! I spent as much time outside as I was able; on the job site and after work was over for the day.
This rebuild was the first that I was able to be witness to the presentation of the house to the owners! What a blessing! The Young's were so appreciative and their words when expressing their thanks were so touching and kind! The whole experience brought tears to my eyes and made me feel so much love for God allowing His children to participate in His kingdom! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I can't wait for the next opportunity to work with God's Pit Crew! ❤️❤️
