It’s FriYAY!

Let’s share a funny story:

This past weekend we were at Fair Lawn Farm (fantastic event highly recommend!) and after we got down the road oh maybe a half mile or so we hear this loud beep. Jay and I look at each other, check our phones (SOS mode is on) and go back to driving and contemplating the wonderful event. About a mile later BEEP! We look again, nothing… a mile more BEEP! Jay says something must have shifted and is rubbing… I reach around and check pretty sure nothing has moved. Anyways 4 hours later we are still hearing BEEP! Every mile or two. We got home exhausted so grabbed only the essentials and headed into the house.

Monday morning we started unloading and BEEP! We finally got everything out of the car and BEEP! But Jay found it! An old (probably 10 years old) smoke detector was going off! We must have jostled it just enough loading, unloading and loading again that the battery reconnected to start beeping! Anyways that’s now in the garbage can and we are back to our peaceful and QUIET drives to and from events!

Happy Monday!

We made it home late yesterday from our fantastic weekend at Fair Lawn Farm!

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, chatted about treen and tapes and bought something to take with them!

Thank you to one young one who picked a spoon declaring “I want that one!” and played with it all weekend as a screwdriver, a digger arm, a sword and even tried to sleep with it!

But most of all a HUGE THANK YOU to Fair Lawn Farm who not only hosted us, made everyone feel like family, fed us - like royalty and help batten down hatches when the rains moved in- but also helped tow us out AND kept us laughing when we sunk the RAV in the rain soaked field! (Also thank you Mitch for the tow straps!)
