This Sunday is Move-Up Sunday in Discovery Kids! 🎉

Our kids will be moving up to their new grade-level classes as they take the next step in their journey of growing and learning about Jesus. 🩵

🦺 Rising K–3rd graders will move to the trailer classrooms.
🎤 Rising 4th–5th graders will move to the Kids Worship Room.

🏗️ Construction Update: We no longer have a 5-year-old classroom. Children who are 5 years old but are not entering Kindergarten will remain in the Puddle Jumpers 4-year-old room.

We can’t wait to celebrate this exciting milestone with your family and kick off a new year of fun, friendships, and faith! ✨🙌

This week our Elementary learned about Joshua and Caleb and how they were great example of being bold and brave in trusting in God!! 🙏💙

Even though many Israelites were afraid, Joshua and Caleb believed God’s promise to give them the Promised Land. Their story reminds us not to let fear, worry, or anxiety get in the way of trusting God. 🏔️

This past Sunday was the last day with our 5th graders before they move up to Middle School.

We are so proud of each one of these kids and we’re blessed to minister to them. We can’t wait to see all that God has in store as they move up and continue to grow in their walk with Christ! 💙 🙌

Join us for an exciting evening of games, dinner, music, photos, and fun memories together. We’ll have co****le, basketball, giant Connect 4, Jenga, and more for a night you won’t want to miss!

📍 Discovery Church

Suggested donation is $30 per mom (sons are free) and includes dinner, DJ, downloadable photos, and all activities. Please register each mother and son separately for food count.

This week in Elementary, we learned about the Parable of the Sower 🌱

Jesus taught us that the seed is God’s Word planted in our hearts, which is why we need the great reminder that a listening heart grows!!

We talked about:
• A hard heart 🪨 — doesn’t want to obey
• A shallow heart 🌱 — has no room to grow
• A distracted heart 🌎 — lets other things become more important than God

We don’t want to just hear God’s Word, we want to listen with our hearts and let it change us! 💛

This week in Preschool, we learned that the Holy Spirit gives us power! ✨

Paul and Silas went through some really hard times, but they stayed strong, joyful, and full of faith because they trusted God instead of relying on themselves. What a reminder that God gives us strength through the Holy Spirit no matter what we face! 🙌🏼🕊️

This Sunday in Preschool we learned that God always hears us when we pray! 🙏

Our Bible story was about Peter’s miraculous escape. ⛓️‍💥📖

When he was locked in jail that was guarded closely, the church prayed and God sent an angel to help Peter escape, reminding us that God hears us when we pray. 💛
