Today the Church celebrates Saint Pope Paul VI, author of Humanae Vitae (1968), the encyclical on human life, marriage, and responsible parenthood.

Written during a time of rapid cultural change, it reaffirmed that the Church’s teaching on love and marriage is not opposed to human happiness, but ordered toward it.

Saint Pope Paul VI, pray for us 🙏🏼✨

A few moments from Fr. Revak’s Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.

On foot, he and Fr. Jack covered more than 70 miles, culminating at the Cathedral of St. James in Santiago de Compostela where Fr. Revak petitioned to St. James on behalf of the parish.

As they make their way home, please keep them in your prayers 🙏

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost — the fulfillment of Christ’s promise and the sending of the Holy Spirit upon His Church 🔥

As the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, the Church was born and sent forth on mission — which is why Pentecost is often called the “birthday of the Church.” The same Holy Spirit continues to renew and strengthen us today.

Come, Holy Spirit 🙏
