One of my goals starting with back to school is to send out a weekly overview of our youth lesson. Typically, there is a theme for the month. This month it is Wipe Out - Lessons from the Life of Jonah. Each week the kids bring home a flyer that describes what we learned and some ways to reinforce the lesson at home. It also includes their weekly memory verse. Everyone should have a folder with a prayer journal. The journal encourages the kids to write their memory verse each night. We know that everyone is busy and that the journal or lesson flyer will be reviewed every night (or every week for that matter). But we want to make the resources available to you and your kiddos so that they can grow in their knowledge of Christ and in their faith. For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7. So, you will be seeing more notifications from me (usually only weekly....don't worry). Hopefully, you won't start to hate the sight of my name!
