An except of today’s message
VITAL EXPERIENCES ON THE JOURNEY ( FROM EGYPT ) OF DESTINY. Pt 1
Spiritual walk is not like traveling on the physical road, yet people misses their turns and stoppages on it with physical signs and direction posts. Spiritual walk is like piloting a flight in the air, there are no tarred road nor paved way, yet there are routes that connects you to your destinations. It’s like Peter stepping on the water, there was no road or route, but when his gaze was on Jesus, he was on top of the water. I don’t know on what you stand on now, but as you focus on Jesus you will walk on your water, you will walk out of that sickness, poverty, you will come out of that challenge in the name of Jesus (Heb 12: 2).
1. Exodus 13: 17. Only God knows the way to their destination and the future.
God is always thinking about us. Remember his statement to Satan about Job (Job 1:8) and what might heaven be thinking about you now. God saw their heart and walking ( The Israelites) and concluded, this folks will return to Egypt at the very sight of war, therefore He took them on a longer route to Canaan. Their commitment was circumstantial. We will serve you if, ( II Chronicles 25: 2) they did not wholeheartedly follow the Lord, inspite of the miracles done in Egypt. It will take the law of total faith ( Rom 3:27; I Cor 9:24-27) and absolute dependency on God to maximize our testimony and expectations timely too. Their journey was prolonged because they didn’t trust absolutely . If their faith was total , their journey could have been shorten. One thing the devil does is to block people’s mind from believing and totally trusting in God, therefore stopping them from being healed (John 12: 40). Ignorance of not believing and trusting in him totally will only perpetuate our suffering and struggles.
Our believes in God establishes us beyond precedence; Gen 22: 1-18 Abraham was first to sacrifice his son, even when there was no precedence for that and God made him the first with a sworn blessing ( Gen 22:15-18). May God make you first on line for miracle without precedence. Your believe in God establishes his hand in your life beyond what any man has ever experienced (John 14:12). Isaiah 48:17, 21. When God leads, it ends in profiting. Even in the desert, they never thirsted and all their need was met. It is your believe in him that guarantees your establishment and as you believe even this word now, your advancement is released. It is more difficult to do it yourself than to believe God for a way out. When Israel believed God , He brought them water out of the rock. May this be your experience in Jesus name.
2. Exodus 14: 10 When he delivers, he don’t abandon midway when we stay connected. God has begotten us ( Ps 2:7; Acts 13:33) and he further validates our position as Abraham’s seed ( Gal 3:29; 4:28). Every grace on Abraham found expression on Isaac, and so are we . Abraham was alone with his Sarah when the king took her away, but God showed up to the king at night and said to him, return that man’s wife, else you will be dead. God always follow the righteous to deliver him. He has not abandon you. Prophet Micah declares, “Oh my enemies rejoice not against me, when I fall, I shall rise again, when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light unto me. He brought Joseph out of prison, established him, brought Daniel out of prison, established him. You will not be abandoned. God is bringing you out now. God asked, can a mother forget her suckling baby, even these may, but I will not forget you, for your name are inscribed in the palm of my hand. I decree your liberty now in the name of Jesus.
Therefore as we stay connected , we are over coming every challenge and attack of the devil. Israel in ignorance desires to return to Egypt, they even worshiped the golden calf, ate food sacrificed to idol and play the harlotry. But God never saved them to abandon them, don’t forget it was all about the Abrahamic covenant. He said, I will be with you to the end of the world ( Mt 28:20). He will not fail you. Every one waiting to see you shame will be disappointed. God is yet lifting you, he will decorate your destiny. You will excel and maximize your destiny in Jesus name. No matter what you going through now, God is bringing you, making you a testimony. Those who laugh at you will come to celebrate with you. Keep trusting him, keep believing in him . And suddenly your light will shine .
