We were open all day, offering free water, bathrooms and air conditioning to all who showed up for NYC Pride today!! We are grateful for each LGBTQIA+ person who walked in our doors, as we know that the church has done, and continues to do harm to q***r people. For all the joy, and all the grief, and all the longing of this day, we give thanks. Love wins!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Church of the Village table to say hello, share your story, and learn more about who we are. We loved getting to talk about our history, our mission, and what makes our community unique.

From rainbow flags and pride swag to wristbands and handmade friendship bracelets created by our church members, it was a day full of joy, connection, and belonging.

A special thank you to our incredible volunteers who helped make it all possible. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to see everyone again next year!
