Statement from Bishop Dr. Boyde Y. Singletary
What we are witnessing is a complete outrage and a continuation of demonic systems that have existed since the beginning of time. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world” (Ephesians 6:12). Years before the pandemic, I warned people about the agendas operating within ICE and other government institutions—and the evidence continues to surface.
According to ICE’s own reporting, from 2010 to 2014, at least 121 individuals released by ICE went on to commit homicide-related offenses. Additionally, a 2024 analysis using ICE data identified over 13,000 individuals with murder convictions who were not in detention as of July 2024—data that spans decades and exposes serious failures in accountability. “Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth has fallen in the street” (Isaiah 59:14).
At the same time, there have been 56 documented deaths in ICE custody during the Obama administration, including multiple suicides. These are not rumors—these are facts. Lives lost, families shattered, and trauma ignored. “The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, He hates with a passion” (Psalm 11:5).
This is not isolated to ICE alone. These patterns reflect a broader sickness within our government, police departments, and judicial systems. Scripture is clear and prophecy is clear. “Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, who write misfortune, which they have prescribed” (Isaiah 10:1). We are under spiritual and systemic attack, and the people must take heed and be prepared.
White supremacy never disappeared. The K*K never left—it simply removed the white sheets and rebranded itself through institutions, policies, and power structures designed to oppress, criminalize, and destroy. “They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace” (Jeremiah 6:14).
The end is drawing near, but this is also a time for discernment, courage, and truth. “Let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream” (Amos 5:24). We must expose darkness with light and refuse to be silent while injustice continues unchecked. “Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them”(Ephesians 5:11).

Statement from Dr. Boyde Singletary on the Proposed Bronx Borough-Based Jail
As a lifelong advocate for justice and community empowerment, I stand firmly against the construction of the new borough-based jail in the South Bronx. The proposed facility—now projected to cost over $3.3 billion through Fiscal 2030—is not what our community needs, nor what it deserves.
This massive structure, set to take up both sides of 745 E. 141st Street in Mott Haven, will only further burden an already struggling neighborhood. The South Bronx has long been treated as a dumping ground for the city’s unwanted projects—whether it’s jails, shelters, or industrial sites that pollute our air and compromise our quality of life. We will not accept it any longer.
That $3.3 billion could and should be invested into affordable housing, youth development, educational opportunities, and community-based programs that uplift—not confine—our residents. Our young people need hope and opportunity, not more correctional facilities planted in their backyards.
We already continue to deal with the challenges surrounding the 2,200-man migrant shelter in the area, which has overwhelmed local resources and disrupted our neighborhoods. Let me be clear—we are not against migrants. We stand for human dignity and opportunity for all. But this administration has failed to provide proper structure, oversight, or resources. As a result, our streets are seeing constant police presence and repeated incidents. The community is under pressure—and that pressure is building.
It is time for our elected officials, city agencies, and so-called leaders to stop using the South Bronx as their convenient solution for every citywide problem. Place this jail in Manhattan, or in one of the many vacant areas throughout the city—but not here.
The South Bronx is a place of resilience, culture, and community pride—not punishment.
We oppose this project, and we will continue to stand together until our voices are heard and respected.

Bronx, NY — October 17, 2025
Today marks the 28th anniversary of a miraculous moment in the life of Apostle, Bishop Dr. Boyde Yeremiyah Singletary, a beloved community leader, spiritual father, and survivor whose journey continues to inspire thousands.
On Friday, October 17, 1997, at 3:10 PM, Bishop Singletary’s life changed forever when he was struck by a white commercial van and dragged across multiple lanes of traffic — between three to seven car lanes, according to witnesses. The right front wheel of the vehicle was positioned on the left side of his face as the right side was dragged along the pavement.
Against all odds, Bishop Singletary sustained no broken bones, only deep scars that remain as a testimony of survival and divine protection. Those close to him credit this miraculous outcome to the mercy and power of the Most High YAH.
“Our Bishop lives the life that most people only sing about,” said one church member. “His scars are living proof that he walks with the Most High.”
Today, his congregation and community are not only celebrating 28 years since that fateful day but also giving thanks for another victory — Bishop Singletary is also 12 years cancer-free.
Under his leadership, Bishop Singletary has continued to serve with humility, purpose, and unwavering faith, using his personal story as a beacon of hope for others facing hardship. His life stands as a testament to endurance, faith, and the healing power of YAH.
Community members across the region are being encouraged to “give Bishop his flowers now, so he can smell them,”recognizing both his survival and his ongoing commitment to uplifting others through faith and service.
“All praises are due to the Most High YAH,” said Bishop Singletary during today’s reflection. “Every scar reminds me of His mercy and grace. I am alive because of Him.”

Bronx native Bishop Dr.Boyde Y. Singletary Born March 25 1988 in New York, NY to the late Alvin Singletary Jr. and Cheryl Singletary. Bishops Father was a veteran who served in the US army special forces. His father retired from the army with an honorable discharge and became a barber for over 40 years and a flooring installer. Bishop is a profound preacher, prophetic leader, and profilic teacher who is filled with the Holy Spirit (Ruach) and is a true anointed and appointed servant of YAH! called for such a time as this.He has been preaching the gospel and teachings of The Messiah since the age of 13 and has been pastoring for 18 years. Through the prayers and spiritual guidance of his loving mother Morah Prophetess Dr.Cheryl Singletary, Bishop was able to overcome many trials and tribulations that nearly cost him his life. He has a history of victories. Bishop answered the call at the age of 13 and has been saved and filled with the Ruach since the age of 7.

Bishop learned about the true identity concerning the children of Israel at the age of 15. Bishops mother took him to various hospitals to pray for people. Bishop witness the power of Yah first hand when his mother was laying hands on the people and they were recovering. Bishop didn’t want to be a preacher and had no choice but to submit to the will of YAH. Bishop was under the tutelage of Apostle Warren D. Adam’s better know as Preacher Warren of the Bronx, NY for 11 years. Bishop began to study and seek the counsel of the most high daily. During his pilgrimage the adversary tried to influence him to go down the wrong road in which he almost had him for a few years but by the grace and power of the most high Bishop prevailed. In 2005 Bishop completed a summer semester at the Bible church of Christ institute in the Bronx where the pastor and founder was the late Bishop Dr. Roy Bryant.

Bishop also studied under The Reverend Dr. Michael Richardson who was one of his professors in Anointed by God Theological Seminary. Bishop was ordained in 2006 as a minister by the late Apostle Eugene Floyd of Orangburg SC and then was elevated in 2007 to the office of elder at the House of Deliverance Church in Brooklyn, NY by the Apostle and visionary Nasi Bishop Dr Alfred L. Philips of the anointed by God alliance and Theological Seminary. He was Installed as a Pastor to lead The Anointed by God Church in the Bronx, NY. Bishop ‎also was one of the associate pastors of the highway christian church of Christ Inc. Harlem NY from March of 2007 to august of 2011. Dr. Boyde was consecrated to the sacred office of Bishop on December 25, 2010 in Cades S.C by his Apostle Bishop Dr.Donald A. Gillard. The senior Pastor and Founder of the Community Temple church of our Lord Jesus Christ inc.and sacred temple churches Inc.

In November 11, 2011 Bishop Boyde along with his mother Pastor Cheryl Singletary founded the Alpha and Omega Church of our lord Jesus Christ Inc. (Yahshua HaMesiach) in the Bronx, NY. Bishop also pastored several churches at that time. Interim Pastor of The historical St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in the Bronx, NY and the overseer of the Everlasting Salvation deliverance church in the Bronx , NY.

Bishop also served 18 years in the friendly baptist church as a senior and junior usher where his first pastor was the late Reverend Albert Sutton Sr. Reverend Sutton Sr. also licensed him as a Minister in July 2010 where he still serves on the ministerial staff where the pastor is Reverend Albert Sutton Jr. In May 2013 Apostle Alfred L. Philips along with the late Bishop Jude Vicar consecrated and affirmed Bishop Boyde into the episcopal office of bishop in The Anointed by God college of Bishops. In June 2013 Bishop took on the role of activism in which he started other organizations to put under the ministry such as Taking back the Village through freedom which helped women and children in domestic violence, wrongful incarceration, families and victims of gun violence, and injustice.

Bishop Dr.Boyde Singletary is the Overseer and founder of the Alpha &omega deliverance Churches of our Lord Jesus Christ(Yahshua HaMesiach) inc.‎ Hebraic Heritage Holiness in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Dominican Republic, and Guyana. Bishop Boyde is the 1st assistant Bishop of the Unified Theological Seminary and fellowship. He is a true Bishop who holds an apostolic mantle.

Dr.Boyde holds several degrees such as an associates degree in Business administration, a Bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources, from Monroe College, a masters of divinity from Theological Seminary, a doctorate of Divinity from the international theological Seminary from Chatsworth California and two honorary doctorates in ministry and humanities from The anointed by God theological Seminary and from Kingdom Bible College and Seminary from Little Rock AR.

Brief Biography of Prophetess Dr. cheryl singletary has been in ministry for over 30 years. Pastor Cheryl Singletary has been pastoring for 18 years. She is the executive pastor and co founder of the Alpha and Omega church of our Lord Jesus Christ Inc. where the Bishop Boyde Y singletary is the senior pastor and founder. Pastor cheryl has hosted several stop the violence events in the south Bronx area. She also was one of the people responsible for putting the 17 bus line back on in the Bronx, NY in September of 2005. She has been a community activist for 22 years. Pastor cheryl singletary also is chaplain and have worked closed with several chaplaincy organizations.
Pastor cheryl holds several degrees in which she has a doctorate of Divinity, PHD, and doctorate in ministry. She graduated from the Bible church of Christ institute in 2005 where she also receive numerous awards. Pastor cheryl also was ordained as a minister by Apostle Eugene Floyd in 2006 under the House of deliverance and Ebenezer Baptist church in Brooklyn NY under the leadership of Apostle Alfred Philips! In 2007 she was elevated to the office of Elder and installed as an Assistant pastor. In 2010 she was ordained as international missionary under the leadership of Apostle Donald Gillard of Cades South Carolina community temple church of our Lord Jesus Christ Inc. Pastor also holds three honorary doctorates from the Anointed by God theological seminary. Pastor Cheryl is a loving person who has a heart for souls and is an Erudite scholar with a prophetic ministry and anointing.
