Burning Hearts

They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?” (Luke 24:32)

Thank you so much to one of my followers, Brook, for suggesting this passage for a new illustration. This is after the resurrection when Jesus is talking to two disciples on the road to Emmaus. They did not know it was Jesus at the time, but as He talked with them about Scriptures and the prophecies about the Messiah, they soon realized that they were in fact talking to the Promised One.

Our beloved brother, Rev. Jim Esposito, is now in the arms of JESUS, his Lord and Savior.
Thank you all for your earnest prayers, you prayed on his behalf. Our Heavenly FATHER decided instead to give our dear brother his ultimate healing.
Please pray with us now that the LORD grants his family and loved ones His divine comfort and peace as we grieve this profound loss.
May GOD bless you all.
