MHNA is a non-profit community service organization that assists immigrant and low income families in the Murray Hill section of Flushing. As an evangelical association, MHNA is committed to practical demonstration of Christ's love in cooperation with a growing number of local churches and organizations of various ethnic and denominational affiliations. The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association was

founded in 1998 with the vision to welcome and assist immigrant and low income families in the Murray Hill Section of Flushing. Under the leadership of Pastor Mark Perri of Immanuel Community Church and retired Pastor John Smucker of First Presbyterian Church of Flushing, MHNA was incorporated in 1999 as a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. Our first two programs were a weekly Food Pantry and the Flushing English Language Center. Since then, MHNA has added a daily afterschool program, computer lab, and an eight week summer program.
