Some seasons feel like a puzzle with missing pieces. You’re doing everything you can to hold life together — your family, your emotions, your faith — but the cracks keep showing up. Hebrews reminds us that drifting doesn’t happen because we’re rebellious… it happens because we’re tired.
Hebrews 2:1 says, “We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.”
Drifting is quiet. Subtle. Slow. And it happens when we stop anchoring ourselves to what God has already spoken.
The truth is, we can’t put the broken pieces of our lives back together. So the Son of God stepped down to be our Perfect High Priest — finishing the work of our salvation on the cross so He could present us whole to the Father.
Hebrews 2:9 reminds us of the hope we cling to:
“But we do see Jesus… now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.”
When the pieces don't fit, look to the One who finished the work.
