Church of the Advent Hope is a Seventh-day Adventist community that exists to live in loving, worshipful, relationship with God and in loving community with one another, empowered by the Holy Spirit to participate in God's reconciling and restorative work through Jesus Christ of healing broken relationships between God and all people and between all members of the human family. We meet for worship

in the Upper East Side of Manhattan at 111 E 87 St. You are welcome to join our worship gatherings on Saturdays at 9 & 11:30 AM, our Bible studies on Saturdays at 10 & 10:30 AM, or throughout the week at our Community Group gatherings (you can find more info about Community Groups at: groups.adventhope.org).

What a blessing it’s been to walk through the story of Jesus this past week. From the Lord’s Supper on Thursday to celebrating Easter together in Central Park on Sunday, we’ve been reminded of the gift of new life in a world so deeply in need of hope.

We’re grateful for the joy of remembering Jesus’ love, rejoicing in His resurrection, and holding onto the promise that He will come again to make all things new.

Beneath a sky veiled in fog, a quiet, worshipful beauty settled over Central Park that morning as our hearts rose in worship.

At Bethesda Terrace, we gathered to read, sing, and pray—celebrating the resurrection of Jesus and the new life He offers us all. His light was present, bringing peace, hope, and renewal.

“He is not here; He has risen!” (Luke 24:6)

Happy Easter, Advent Hope!

Today, we celebrate the joy and victory of God’s love for us. In Jesus, we see a love so deep that it meets us in our brokenness and lifts us into new life. The cross reveals the depth of His love, and the empty tomb proclaims its triumph. Because He lives, we have hope, renewal, and the promise of life made new. As we rejoice in the risen Christ, may our hearts be filled with gratitude, our lives marked by compassion, and our hope shared freely with others. He is risen! ✨

Through reading aloud, we help cultivate a love for learning and remind students that their stories matter. Serving in this way is a beautiful example of how small acts of volunteering can make a big difference.
