She jokes about it now — "If Hashem tests the ones He loves, He must be obsessed with me." 😔
But behind that joke is real pain.
Miscarriages. Pregnancies she begged Hashem to protect. Prayers she poured her heart into.
And sometimes — the answer was no.
Here's what she's learned through all of it: 💡
Sometimes the answer to our tefillos is yes.
Sometimes the answer is no.
Sometimes the answer is not yet.
But all three of those answers carry the same message — trust Me.
In this world we don't have all the answers. We can't see the full picture. We carry our question marks with us everywhere we go. 😔
But when Mashiach comes — every single question mark becomes an exclamation point. ❤️
And so she says the same line over and over again, in the hardest moments, when nothing makes sense:
"Hashem, I don't understand — but I trust You." 🙏
It's not our job to understand the ways of Hashem.
It's our job to trust them.

Before you were even born, you signed a spiritual contract with God. 📝✨
Every single one of us agreed to the exact circumstances of our lives before our souls ever came down to this world. We agreed to our specific struggles—whether that means serving Him through distress, navigating life single, facing physical limitations, or dealing with painful challenges with our children.
Why would we ever agree to that? Because when we were in the World of Truth, standing face-to-face with divine purpose, it was entirely clear. We knew that entering this limited, heavy world was the only way to define our ultimate purpose.
The soul itself actually experiences this physical world like a prison; it never wanted to leave the perfection of heaven. But Hashem said, "No, you need to go down to that lowly world. Because that is where your work is. That is where your greatness lies." 🌍🕊️
Your struggles aren't a cosmic mistake or a punishment. They are the exact terms of the contract your soul signed because it knew you were strong enough to achieve greatness through them.
When things get heavy, try to remember: your soul chose this mission. 🧩❤️

“Sarah, we are both good people... so why are we constantly at each other’s throats?” 🤯💔
A woman recently came to me with this exact, heartbreaking question. They loved each other, but their marriage felt like a constant battlefield. She was desperate to know: Is this normal?

But then she said something that is the absolute, wild truth about modern relationships:

In Judaism, there is no such concept as retirement. 🛑🏌️‍♂️
The idea that we reach age 65, stop being productive, and spend the rest of our days playing golf simply doesn't exist in Jewish thought. Our involvement in this world and our divine mission to help perfect it does not come with an expiration date.
To completely retire and check out of society is like turning our back on the very purpose God gave us.
Now, that doesn't mean your life won't change as you age. It isn't about grinding at the exact same job forever. Instead, it’s about a shift in your productive endeavors. Think of it like managing a portfolio: there might be a reallocation of your time, a diversification of your talents, or a rebalancing of your daily routine. You might teach, mentor, volunteer, or study more.
But complete withdrawal? Never. A Jew remains a productive, contributing force in this world until their very last breath—all the way until 120. 🌍✨
Your value and your mission don't decrease with age; they just evolve.

Why are some tomatoes worth six times more than the rest? 🍅🧺
When you walk into a supermarket, you usually see a massive pile of standard tomatoes. But right next to them, there’s a small, separate basket labeled "handpicked." While the ordinary ones are 99 cents a pound, the handpicked ones are $5.99 a pound. Why? Because someone took the time to inspect the vine, use their own hands, and select every single one for its unique quality. They are rare, they are special, and they hold immense value.
That is exactly how Hashem looks at the Jewish people. We aren't just part of a nameless crowd. We are handpicked.
Every single one of us was individually chosen and placed here to complete a very specific, particular mission in this world. There is a puzzle piece in the grand design of creation that only you can hold. If you don't fulfill your purpose, that space in the puzzle of life will remain eternally empty. 🧩✨
You aren't ordinary. You hold inherent greatness, importance, and a divine role that cannot be replaced by anyone else.

When the weight of the world creates a divide in your marriage. 💔

I know a family where the wife is an incredibly deep empath. She is feeling the current state of the world so intensely right now that she literally can’t sleep, eat, or focus. Her husband, who has always depended on her steady presence, just doesn't understand what's going on.

Because they process heavy global events in such entirely different ways, she isn't able to show up the way she wants to—and it’s causing immense stress in their relationship. 🌪️

If you and your partner are experiencing this same disconnect, here is one powerful step you can take today: Have an intentional, 5-minute sit-down.

Not a casual chat in passing, but a deliberate moment to look at each other and ask: "What is it like for you being in life during wartime/increased antisemitism?" 🗣️👂
