🌿 Charity & Giving: Loved by Allah
Those who spend in Allah’s way, Allah Himself rewards them
Alhamdulillah.
In this world, many people accumulate wealth, but only a few spend sincerely for Allah’s pleasure.
Those generous hearts are mentioned with beautiful rewards in the Quran and Hadith — hearing it softens the heart.
Charity is not just giving money.
It can be:
- Feeding a hungry person
- Supporting an orphan
- Helping the needy
- Installing a tube well or a fan in a mosque
- Supporting a student’s education
- Donating for medical treatment
- Even speaking kind words is considered charity (Sadaqah)
Sometimes, we think —
“Will my small donation make any difference?”
Remember, even a small act of charity can change someone’s life,
and with Allah, even the smallest charity can multiply immensely.

✨ Why Charity is So Great?
1) Charity multiplies in reward
Allah says:
«“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a grain that sprouts seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains. Allah multiplies for whom He wills.”
— Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261»
2) Charity brings peace & removes fear
Allah says:
«“Those who spend in charity, not giving it to be seen, nor to hurt others, will have their reward with their Lord. They shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.”
— Surah Al-Baqarah 2:262»
3) Even kind words count as Sadaqah
Prophet ﷺ said:
«“A good word and forgiveness is better than charity followed by hurt.”
— Sahih Bukhari 2630»

🌸 Public Charity: Is it wrong?
Many think all charity should be hidden,
others say posting on Facebook is showing off.
But Islam teaches balance:
intention, benefit, and impact are all considered.
When hidden charity is best:
- Solely for Allah’s pleasure
- To protect the act from showing off
- To respect the dignity of the needy
Quran says:
«“If you make charity openly, it is good; but if you hide it and give it to the needy, that is better for you.”
— Surah Al-Baqarah 2:271»
Public charity is okay too — if intention is correct.
It can:
- Build trust that donations reach rightful hands
- Encourage others to give
- Spread goodness to more people
- Create an environment of generosity and cooperation
The main point: INTENTION
- Wrong intention → showing off, pride, or hurting others
- Right intention → trust, encouragement, spreading good deeds

💖 Hadith on Charity
Prophet ﷺ said:
«“The upper hand is better than the lower hand.”
— Sahih Bukhari»
Meaning, giving is better than receiving,
and what you spend in Allah’s path is stored for you — unseen, but immense in reward.

🤲 Final Thoughts
One day, your name may fade, your wealth may pass on,
but your charity, orphan support, student aid, feeding the hungry, Sadaqah Jariyah—
these remain everlasting rewards.
So, spend while you can, give while you have, save for Akhirah while living.
Charity never decreases wealth; it brings hearts closer to Allah.
