We start everyday with Morning Prayer at 8am on the steps of Low Library because we need God even more than coffee. In our Life Groups, we grow in love for God's Word and then actively respond by serving our neighborhood and community. At Ignite, we are equipped to be leaders and witnesses of God's purposes in the world. Our vision is to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world changers developed.

Happy Thanksgiving from our Soul Food Thanksgiving dinner at Amy Ruth’s last night! Can you imagine what would happen if your campus was transformed by the Gospel? One of the keys to seeing that happen is setting aside extended time to encounter God through Scripture and Prayer in community.

InterVarsity NY/NJ's Block Party is an experiential retreat for students all across NY & NJ. Students who register will gather in small groups for an immersive experience facilitated by online content. Students will encounter God together through worship and scripture, get equipped through teaching and training from seasoned InterVarsity staff, and get empowered to reach their campus and share the gospel. All students who register will receive Block Party materials in the mail to help them engage fully with this experiential retreat. Block Party will take place from October 22-24. Registration is $49. Check out our NSOP events this next week to meet students from InterVarsity and Soul Food! Soul Food is a community within InterVarsity for Black students who want to grow in following Jesus together on campus.

InterVarsity at CU is a student-led ministry on a mission to bring the Gospel to every corner of campus. Soul Food is one of the groups that we host to do that. If you are looking for a place to grow in your faith and be challenged, we hope to see you next week.

What does a Christian approach to the great works of literature, philosophy, and the humanities look like? InterVarsity is hosting discussion groups in the Fall to invite people to engage with the LitHum and Cont. Civ. Curriculum with an intellectually robust Christian perspective.
