In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Imam Al-Khoei Islamic Center of New York announces that the moon of Shawwal has been sighted on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Therefore, Friday, March 20, 2026 will be the 1st of Shawwal, 1447 A.H., marking the blessed day of Eid al-Fitr.

We ask Allah to accept our fasting, prayers, and عبادات during the holy month of Ramadan, and to shower His mercy, forgiveness, and countless blessings upon all believers on this joyous occasion.

اللّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ 🤲✨
