Inspiring Youth Program Brings Together Young Muslims in New York
NEW YORK — September 6, 2026: Alhamdulillah, as part of the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ celebration organized by Anjumane Al-Islah USA, an inspiring and memorable Youth Program was held on Sunday, September 6, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
The program brought together young Muslims, madrasa students, youth leaders, teachers, and community members from across New York and neighboring areas. More than simply an event, the gathering served as a platform to inspire the next generation, develop young leadership, showcase Islamic talent, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among Muslim youth.
Students and youth representatives participated from Darussunnah Latifia New York, Darus Sunnah New York, Shahjalal Latifia Islamic Center NJ, Daarul Hikmah NY, Hifzul Quran Academy at Fultoli Islamic Center, and several other madrasas and Islamic institutions.
The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and love for Islam as young participants took the stage to present Qiraat, Nasheed, and Islamic speeches. Each performance reflected the dedication, confidence, and potential of the younger generation. Members from various Anjumane Al-Islah chapters, youth leaders, and their teams also joined the program, making it a powerful gathering of young Muslims and community leaders from different institutions.
Investing in the Next Generation
One of the most meaningful aspects of the program was the opportunity it provided for young people from different madrasas to meet one another, learn from one another, build friendships, and recognize that they are part of a much larger Muslim community.
Programs like this can help young Muslims discover their abilities and develop the confidence to use those abilities for a greater purpose. A young student who steps onto a stage today to recite the Qur’an, deliver a speech, or perform a Nasheed may become tomorrow’s teacher, scholar, community leader, or servant of Islam.
The event also sent an important message to parents, teachers, and community leaders: our youth need opportunities, encouragement, mentorship, and trust. Their talents should be nurtured, their voices should be heard, and their leadership should be developed with the guidance of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Building Unity Through Youth
Bringing students and youth leaders from different madrasas and Islamic institutions together was another important achievement of the program. The gathering demonstrated that young Muslims can come together with a shared purpose while representing different institutions and communities.
The friendships and connections developed through programs like this can become the foundation for future collaborations, educational programs, sports activities, community service projects, and other initiatives led by the younger generation.
Alhamdulillah, the enthusiastic participation of the students and youth leaders made the program a memorable and successful part of the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ celebration.
The event reflects the vision of Anjumane Al-Islah USA to invest in and empower the next generation by creating opportunities for young Muslims to learn, lead, serve, and grow together.
The message to the youth is clear: your talent is an amanah, your education is a responsibility, and your leadership can make a difference. With sincerity, knowledge, good character, and proper guidance, the young Muslims of today can become a source of strength and service for the Ummah tomorrow.
May Allah Ta‘ala accept the efforts of all the students, youth leaders, teachers, organizers, guests, parents, and volunteers who contributed to this program. May Allah bless our youth with beneficial knowledge, strong Iman, excellent character, wisdom, and the courage to serve Islam and humanity. May He make them a source of guidance, unity, and positive change for their families, communities, and the Ummah.
Ameen Ya Rabbal ‘Alameen.
