United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism

United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism We are the network of Conservative Jewish congregations across North America.

We strengthen synagogues at every level and are the leading voice for an authentic and dynamic Judaism around the world. Founded in 1913, USCJ is the network of nearly 600 Conservative Jewish communities across North America. We represent the values and beliefs of an authentic and dynamic Judaism in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Israel. Our work strengthens kehillot (Jewish communities ins

ide and outside the walls of a synagogue) by providing visionary leadership training, creating opportunities for Jews of all ages to learn and grow, sharing essential resources, and seeding innovative ideas.

Jerusalem is more than a city — it is the heart of the Jewish people. On Yom Yerushalayim, we pause to honor the profound significance of a unified Jerusalem and the generations who dreamed of, prayed toward, and sacrificed for this moment. יום ירושלים שמח to all who hold this holy city in their hearts. 💛

USCJ mourns the passing of Abraham “Abe” Foxman, z”l — tireless advocate against antisemitism and hate, and one of the most influential Jewish communal leaders of our time.

For decades, through his leadership at the Anti-Defamation League, Abe helped shape the fight for civil rights, Jewish safety, and human dignity. USCJ is grateful for the longstanding partnership between our organizations and the shared work we have done together to combat antisemitism, strengthen Jewish communities, and educate future generations.

May his memory be for a blessing, and may his legacy continue to inspire all those working toward a world free from hate.

Wishing all who celebrate a day filled with love, joy, and appreciation. 🌸

Building bridges across communities, cultures, and faiths.

We’re proud to share this inspiring story highlighting Sinai Temple and their work fostering meaningful connections between Jewish and Indian communities through dialogue, shared values, and relationship-building.

At a time when division can feel overwhelming, initiatives like the Jewish Indian Alliance remind us of the power of partnership, understanding, and community.

Last month in Los Angeles, two communities that have long lived alongside one another chose, deliberately, to step into each other’s space.
