Baptism Throwback! Circa 1985. Ironton, Missouri. St. Marie du Lac Catholic Church where my parents were Married. I'm with my Daddy on the left and my twin sister is with my Mommy on the right. Father Gaydos....he sent us a Birthday Card every single year up until we were 18 years old. His very last words of wisdom to us were: "Always be a Lady." He was an important part of my life.

Pre-Vatican II, the Church used the terms CHURCH MILITANT (we Catholics being Christ's spiritual soldiers on Earth), CHURCH PENITENT (the souls in Purgatory), and CHURCH TRIUMPHANT (Heaven and the Communion of Saints).

Right now, we as Catholics need to rise up and I invite any other Christians to rise up and be the CHURCH MILITANT and Pray!! Fight the spiritual battles we face in Society, fight wrongdoings, fight corruption with the Sword of Prayer. Pray especially to Our Lady, Mary, as she is a powerful giver of graces and a powerful intercessor on our behalf. 🙏🏻
