Pastoral care shapes whether people experience church as life-giving… or harmful.
Right now, many trans and gender nonconforming people are still searching for spiritual safety, belonging, and care.
The Trans Pastoral Care Summit is a place for ministry leaders of all backgrounds to listen, learn, and reflect on how we show up for this community in our ministries and in our communities.
This work matters because people matter!
➡️ Think of 3 pastors or ministry leaders you know
➡️ Send this to them and invite them personally to attend in NYC or register for digital access!

We’re proud to present a new video called Practice Resurrection.

In it, you’ll see how God is at work at Kaleidoscope. Every day, we witness glimpses of resurrection. Lives being restored, shame giving way to belonging, and people rediscovering that God’s love was never withheld from them.

Watch the video and celebrate the ways resurrection is already unfolding.
Together we are practicing resurrection.

Because God’s kingdom doesn’t arrive by accident.
It comes when we choose to act – together.

Holy Saturday, the quiet day between the cross and the empty tomb.

The day of unanswered questions.
The day when hope feels distant.
The day of not yet.

Many LGBTQ+ Christians know what it feels like to live in that space, holding onto faith while waiting for churches, families, and communities to catch up.

At Kaleidoscope, we walk alongside people in that waiting.

Through spiritual care and community, we help people heal from spiritual harm, rebuild faith, and experience tangible expressions of Christ.

This work grows slowly, just like resurrection always has. And it is sustained by a community of people who believe God is still working even in the silence.

If you feel called to nurture hope in the middle of that waiting, we invite you to join The Prism, Kaleidoscope’s monthly donor community.

And tomorrow, we will share something special.

Our new video: Practice Resurrection.

Today is Good Friday.

The day we remember that Christ was rejected, condemned, and cast out by the religious systems around him.

For many LGBTQ+ people, that experience of rejection is not ancient history. It is something they have lived.

At Kaleidoscope, we believe practicing resurrection begins by telling the truth about suffering, and then choosing to respond.

Through spiritual care and community gatherings, we walk alongside people as they process grief, rebuild faith, and rediscover that God’s love was never withheld from them.

150 people have already joined The Prism to stand in solidarity with those who have been cast out. Our hope this Easter is to grow that community to 200.

Right now every new or increased monthly gift is doubled for the first 12 months through our $40,000 matching campaign. Though not matched, one-time gifts are also welcomed.

And stay with us through Holy Week.

On Easter Sunday, we will release our new video: Practice Resurrection.

Tonight is Maundy Thursday.

The night Jesus broke bread and shared a final meal with his disciples before his arrest. Around that table he gave a simple command:

Love one another as I have loved you.

Communion was meant to be a place where people could taste and experience the unconditional love of Christ.

But for many LGBTQ+ Christians, the communion table has not always felt like a place of belonging.

At Kaleidoscope, we believe Christ’s table was never meant to exclude.

Moments like our Transgiving Feast remind us what happens when the table is truly open. Last year many people came after being uninvited from family gatherings. For some, it was the first holiday meal where they could fully be themselves.

That kind of belonging does not happen by accident. It happens because people choose to help build a bigger table.

If this vision resonates with you, we invite you to join The Prism, Kaleidoscope’s monthly donor community. Right now every new or increased monthly gift is doubled for the first 12 months through our $40,000 matching campaign.

You can join for as little as $5 a month. One-time gifts are also appreciated.

And stay with us through the rest of Holy Week. On Easter Sunday we will release a new video called Practice Resurrection.

We can’t wait to share it with you.

This Holy Week, we are inviting our community to walk through the story of Easter in a different way.

Instead of simply reading the events of Holy Week, we want to place ourselves within them.

Throughout the week we will reflect on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter through the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ people of faith.

Because for many LGBTQ+ Christians, these moments are not just ancient history.
They are lived realities that feel personal.

But resurrection is not only something we remember once a year.
It is something we can practice daily.

Whenever shame gives way to belonging…
Whenever fear is replaced with confidence in God’s unconditional love…
Whenever someone discovers that God has never left them…
Resurrection is at work among us.

This journey will culminate on Easter Sunday when we release a new video called Practice Resurrection.

If you want to help LGBTQ+ people experience resurrection in tangible ways, you can join The Prism, our monthly donor community.

Right now, every new monthly gift is doubled through our $40,000 matching campaign.

More than 150 people have already joined The Prism. Our goal is to reach 200 people practicing resurrection together.

You can join for as little as $5 a month.
