Anas bin Malik said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever sends salah upon me once, Allah (SWT) will send salah upon him tenfold, and will erase ten sins from him, and will raise him ten degrees in status."
[Sunan an-Nasa'i]
Simply by saying Allahumma Salli 'Ala Muhammad you can earn 10 good deeds and have 10 bad deeds forgiven 🤲

AssalamuAlaikum, beloved brothers and sisters tonight we have officially entered into the 9th of Muharram (here in NYC). 🗓

It is recommended to fast on the 9th & 10th of Muharram (Friday and Saturday).
If that's not possible then the 10th & 11th of Muharram (Saturday and Sunday).

On this day (10th of Muharram), Prophet Musa (عليه السلام) and the Bani Israel escaped the Pharoah on a Path created by Allah through the sea 🌊.

Below are some Ahadith about 'Ashura and fasting, that i strongly encourage everyone to take a look at:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Fasting the Day of 'Ashura (10th of Muharram), I hope that Allah will accept it as an expiation for (the sins committed in) the previous year." [Sahih Muslim]

The Prophet (ﷺ) came to Medina and saw the Jews fasting on the day of Ashura. He asked them about that. They replied, "This is a good day, the day on which Allah rescued Bani Israel from their enemy. So, Moses fasted this day." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "We have more claim over Moses than you." So, the Prophet fasted on that day and ordered (the Muslims) to fast (on that day). [Sahih al-Bukhari]

When the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day of 'Ashurah and commanded us to fast on it, they (i.e. Companions) said: Messenger of Allah, this is a day which is considered great by Jews and Christians ? The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When the next year comes, we shall fast on the 9th of Muharram. But the next year the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) breathed his last.
[Sunan Abi Dawud]

It was narrated from Sahl bin Sa’d (RA) that the Prophet (SAW) said: “In Paradise there is a gate called Rayyan. On the Day of Resurrection the call will go out saying: ‘Where are those who used to fast?’ Whoever is among those who used to fast will enter it, and whoever enters it will never thirst again.” (Hasan (Darussalam), Vol 1, Book 7, Hadith 1640)

The reality of the Devil is that his goal is to keep us distracted from the more important questions in life. Such as the purpose of our existence, to the extent that he makes it seem as though these existential questions are a backwards, barbaric and outdated way of thinking.

Furthermore, the devil (satan) makes it out to seem as though ideas that were considered morally wrong for centuries are actually fine and that humankind has been misguided all along.

It is important that we dont allow the devil (satan) to spoil our Fitrah (innate disposition) in this manner.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
On behalf of the many people in this world, we would like to fundraise a bit of money for the unfortunate people in the undeveloped cities of Bangladesh and India. We will be donating care packages to as many families as possible with your kind donations إنشاء الله. Our current plan is to raise $5000 USD to supply 500 families with essential food items for one week إنشاء الله.

These packages will be dispersed in the last 10 days of Ramadhān, so please donate generously. In a Hadith narrated by Abū Hurairah رضي الله عنه, the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم says the following:

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ يُضَاعَفُ الْحَسَنَةُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِمِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلاَّ الصَّوْمَ فَإِنَّهُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ يَدَعُ شَهْوَتَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ"

Every (good) deed of the son of Ādam عليه السلام would be multiplied, a good deed receiving a tenfold to seven hundredfold reward. Allāh عز وجل has said: "With the exception of fasting, for it is done for Me and I will give a reward for it, for one abandons his passion and food for My sake."
[Sahīh Muslim 13/213]

Helping people in underprivileged areas of India and Bangladesh in the LAST 10 DAYS OF RAMADAN, with a food package delivered to them.
