PASTORS… BREATHE. DON’T DIE IN THE PULPIT.
You do not have to do it all by yourself.
We were never called to build a ministry that depends on us for everything.
We were called to raise up disciplesmen and women who can carry the work of the Kingdom of God.
We are not called to create dependency.
We are called to build people.
Jesus gets all the glory.
Hear me, Pastor
you do not have to destroy your life trying to maintain a perfect ministry in the eyes of men.
Do not neglect your health.
Do not neglect your family.
Do not neglect your time of rest.
And above all, do not abandon your intimacy with God just to keep up appearances.
There comes a moment when activity becomes unhealthy.
When serving people starts replacing sitting with God.
When ministry becomes performance instead of overflow.
When you are doing so much for others that you are forgetting your own soul.
Stop.
Breathe.
Remember who called you.
God did not call you to carry what only He can carry.
You are not the Savior Jesus is.
You are a servant, not the source.
You are a vessel, not the vine.
Stop trying to answer every call, fix every problem, attend every need, and carry every burden alone.
That is not strength.
That is slow destruction.
Find time for your family.
Find time for your health.
Find time for what refreshes your soul.
Find time for the people you love.
And most of all, find time for the presence of God.
Because a ministry that looks strong in public
but is killing the man or woman carrying it is not success.
Pastor, breathe.
The Kingdom will not collapse because you rested.
The church will not die because you took care of your soul.
The work of God was never meant to replace your walk with God.
Stop.
Rest.
Recalibrate.
Breathe.
You were called to serve from presence, not pressure.
